hi, i'm not sure if i should have played this differently..

      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.04(BB) Replayer
      SB ($4.35)
      BB ($1.60)
      UTG ($4.43)
      UTG+1 ($4.54)
      UTG+2 ($1.66)
      MP1 ($4.25)
      CO ($4.75)
      Hero ($4.02)

      Dealt to Hero T:club: A:spade:

fold, fold, fold, fold, CO raises to $0.16, Hero calls $0.16, SB calls $0.14, fold

      FLOP ($0.52) T:diamond: A:club: 9:club:

SB checks, CO checks, Hero bets $0.33, SB raises to $0.74, CO folds, Hero raises to $3.86 (AI), SB calls $3.12

      TURN ($8.24) T:diamond: A:club: 9:club: 6:heart:

      RIVER ($8.24) T:diamond: A:club: 9:club: 6:heart: 8:heart:

      Hero shows T:club: A:spade:
      (Pre 44%, Flop 21.3%, Turn 9.1%)

      SB shows 9:diamond: 9:spade:
      (Pre 56%, Flop 78.7%, Turn 90.9%)

      SB wins $7.83

not sure why i flat called preflop, was this okay? CO is 14/10 over 859 hands so i thought he could isolate pretty wide from that position...

i've done a bit of reading today about raises on the flop and the general consensus is that a raise on the flop with TPTK is a monster like 75% of the time. since i had the worst of these monsters, and it is unlikely we have the same hand, can i ever assume i'm behind here? i thought he could play draws like this and TPTK even. the only hands beating me are AAA, TTT, and 999. ironically people play those hands in this exact same way, so i'm not sure what i should have done here... SB was 26/16 over 227 hands. his AF was 4.6 and c/r = 17% on the flop if that helps, but i didn't actually look at those 2 stats in this hand.

      Hello DrDunne,

Preflop: Well, I don't like the Call that much. Rather just fold the hand or either way even 3betting would be better with having a blocker plus of course even fold equity.

      As played
Postflop: Well, I doubt that he is Check/Raising here with pure air in multiway pot. Therefore with the Check/Raise stat ain't much to do. Although as you called it preflop and SB will very likely have a wide range, maybe even worse 2pairs/just Ax I don't think that I'd get away here, rather get in as you did.

      Best regards.
