Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)

      Known players:
      MP2 (Hero):

      Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A, J.
      MP1 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, MP3 calls $0.08, 4 folds, 3 folds, 2 folds, BB folds.

      Flop: ($0.19) K, 6, 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $0.14, Hero folds, MP3 gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $0.19.

Should I have C-bet, because I had the initiative, or did I do the right thing by letting the hand go?

      Hello Krishjanis,

Well, of course it's possible to just Check/Fold here if you expect the opponent to Call with any kind of FD here and maybe even float you or with any pair. Then going for such a line as you did is totally fine.

Although I would still consider CBetting here while it may also miss his range, plus he may easily even give up all kind of PPs and of course any other type of hands.

      Best regards.
