Against this kind of player I think your line is good.

Preflop: I really like your iso-raise. It's somewhat risky because we do miss many flops with AQ but our hand is definitely ahead of his range so we should play it strongly.

Flop: Normal cbet is ok, because we can expect him to call almost every cbet. I wouldn't bet more than $0,90 but betting more than 80c is a must here. We want to play for stacks against him on this board so we start building the pot now.

Turn: No FD out there so we hope he has some weaker Q to pay us out. If we 2nd barrel we show lots of strength so I think checking is better here, especially against such a loose opponent.
Veriz, is a $1 bet on turn possible/good? To indicate weakness and invite his overshove?

      Nice hand. :)

      Hello yinyun,

Preflop: Well, against a maniac it's definitely fine to 3bet here but it's pretty much the bottom. The question is what's your plan if the opponent decides to come over the top and 4bet you?

      As played
Postflop: I will try to answer to both, the question from yaxkukmian and also the play. Well I do actually like the idea of Checking the turn against maniac. Since I expect him to float there with very wide range and also take stabs with very wide range. For that given rather Check/Raise there than 2nd barrel $1, it wont induce a raise from him. But rather Checking will induce a bet as he did.

      Best regards.
