Titan No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05/$0.10 (Titan HH Converter by Kreatief)

      SB ($10.84) (Hero)
      BB ($9.54)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q:heart: , Q:club:
1 folds, CO calls $0.10, Button calls $0.10, Hero raises to 0.7, BB calls $0.65, 2 folds,

      Flop: 8:spade: , 9:spade: , 5:club: ( $1.7 )
Hero bets $1.70, BB calls $1.70,

      Turn: J:club: ( $5.1 )
Hero checks, BB raises All-In $7.09, 1 folds,

      Final Pot: $11.94

BB instantly called on the flop and because he had solid stats, i was afraid of a set, so i thought for a long time on the turn and decided to check and prayed for him check behind and see a showdown cheaply. Unfortunately he decided to push and i folded.

Am i commited here on the turn? Should i push myself?
Or should i bet smaller or bigger on the flop to make it easier on the turn?
