      Was I right to check that flop or should I just have bet it. Should I just have put him all in pre?

      C-bet the flop. Why would you check?

      The flop is draw heavy and you don't want to give any free card.

      Against one oop you almost always C-bet. if he calls you can give it up unimproved and play c/f.

      Well, the board is super-draw-heavy I would say. I doubt that we are making any hands to fold here anyways. For that given reason your play is totally fine. It's even possible that the opponent wont take any stabs and we get a free showdown.
