Preflop: Hero is CO with A, J.
      4 folds, MP3 calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.10, BU calls $0.10, 2 folds, MP3 calls $0.08.

      Flop: ($0.33) 6, 2, 8 (3 players)
MP3 checks, Hero checks, BU checks.

      Turn: ($0.33) Q (3 players)
MP3 checks, Hero checks, BU checks.

      River: ($0.33) 4 (3 players)
      MP3 bets $0.02, Hero raises to $0.16, BU calls $0.16, MP3 calls $0.14.

      Final Pot: $0.81.

      Results follow:

      BU shows a flush, king high(A K).
      Hero shows a flush, ace high(A J).
      MP3 shows a flush, queen high(5 5).

Hero wins with a flush, ace high(A J).

So my question is did I play it right by checking and hoping I can get my flush and then bet on river, or should I try to build a bigger pot?

      Hello Krishjanis,

Nah, I would most likely play the same way. I doubt that you are making any better hands to fold on turn. Although I would definitely raise it bigger on river. I mean you have pretty much the nuts there, don't you? I'd considere sometimes even shipping if I see them being loose enough. Or either way do a raise of $0,40.

      Best regards.
