Hi there my fellow grinders. Wasn't bragging for some time so decided to end this silence :P . Today played my first live tournament held in local casino. When first seated at a table, was pretty confused when dealer said to me to post big blind of 75 chips, as I was looking at my chip stack, there wasn't any chip smaller than 100 :f_confused: . After initial laugh and taunt by others, when was acting before my turn and not putting chips in the middle like supposed to and etc. I managed to get the feeling for the game. And I was really, really enjoying it :f_biggrin: . So as tourney was progressing I was building my stack mainly by stealing blinds, raising limpers, abusing cutoff and dealer position and overall aggression. I felt like every player on my table was passive fish. Later , it showed that indeed they were all fishes just some were aggro donkeys and only few, but i MEAN FEW ,were knowing what they were doing. Insane :D . So after going up and down in chip count and some card dead period. At one point I found myself sitting with only 1.9 bb in BU and dealt K4s, pushed AI and surprisingly stole the blinds. It was funny because BB was getting pretty good odds to call but he folded and said something like ''nah, two deuces newer wins'' :f_eek: . After that my stack was just going up, managed to win 3 or 4 coin-flips in a row, and my pile of chips was healthy again. Final table was there and was looking at flop something like 5Q9r with 3 other players, one said bet, other one , all in! but i knew my set of 5s were good and pushed my chips toward middle with pleasure. 2 folds, all in guy had AQ , turn was blank, easy game ;) . As the game flow, there were 4 of us left and my final hand is A8o in sb, not sure if i played it well, as we both big blind and myself had about 20 bbs, but my chips were in the middle again, he said quickly CALL! and turned KK. Better hand remained better and I finished in 4th place. At first I felt disappointed as I was giving myself pretty good odds to scoop the first prize, but then said to myself, hey this your first tourney and you played decent. My prize was about $110 converted from Croatian kunas, while my buy in and add on were ~$20. Very satisfied after all ;) . So my message to you guys, if anybody is reading this :D , GO PLAY LIVEEE. It's so much of a fun and value there, that it's' a sin not to try :]

Until my next brag post, stay cool good luck on the tables. :s_cool:

You just give a dealer your chip of 100 and he will return you the change, or even easier is to ask player around you to exchange it for you. I my case player right of me gave me 4 x 25 chip for my 100 ... :f_cool:

I think you have nothing to worry about, if you're experienced in online gaming, you'll get used to live games in no time. In just few orbits of blinds...IMO
