I signed up under your 'pass the test, get $50' program and registered at Mansion Poker.. The funds arrived this past Tuesday, but something is wrong with my Mansion client software...

I cannot get to 'real money' cash tables.. Only the 'play money' cash tables will display... It does not give me an option to switch between 'real' or 'play' tables...

On the other hand, under 'Tournaments', I do have the option to switch between 'real' and 'play money' SnG's.

I have chatted with Mansion Support and they we of no help...

The question is, since I set up my account using your promo code and registered thru the link provided on this pokerstrategy website, will it cause any problems if I uninstall Mansion and reinstall it to try and get a new client that will allow me to play the real money cash tables??

      Any suggestions?

      Thanks..

      Hello SpiriteWalker,

Have you transferred the funds from your Mansion account to your poker wallet yet?

      Best regards,

Yes.. Have even tried moving funds back to Mansion, then back into Poker... No change...

I've played several real money SnG's, but I would rather play cash tables. Even Mansion doesn't seem to know why my current client does not show option to switch from 'real' to 'play' and back again under the 'Cash Tables' tab???

Would it mess up the reporting link between Mansion and PokerStrategy if I just uninstall the current client and install a new version??

      Hi SpiriteWalker,

Since your account and not your software is linked - reinstalling the software should have no effect whatsoever.

Good luck on fixing the problem.

      Hi!

I had the same problem, but it was OK after I closed the software and reopened it a couple of times.

Hi People... Since I last posted I have had 'live chats' with Mansion three times... They tried to help, and were very curteous... The problem is that none of their suggestions worked...

Mansion said they could 'see' the Client I should be seeing on my puter? But they could see the 'real money' tables, and I still cannot?? What a strange problem this seems to be.

I have since tried deleting Temp Internet Files, Cookies, and flushing my DNS. (several times) I have uninstalled and reinstalled Mansion software four times, and even put Mansion software on my Wife's computer to see if it showed real money cash tables on her machine?? It didn't, the result was the same as on my puter.

OK, what can I do about this?? Is it possible for you guys to arrange for me to open an account at another site and switch the money around?

If not, then I guess I'm stuck with $1-$2 SnG's until I win enough $$ to move up in buy in's??

      Hello SpriteWalker,

That is strange indeed. Have you tried taking a screenshot of your Problem and showing to the Mansion support staff? Or asked them to access your account for you?

If it doesnt work on your Wife's computer either it would seem to me that it is a problem with the account settings.

Try contacting Mansion again for another solution. If this doesn't work out I will see in what ways we are able to help you.

      Best regards,

Thanks SoyCD... I believe Mansion has accessed my account, but I'll ask to be certain...

Will contact them again tomorrow and let you know what they said....

In a way, I'd kinda like to stay at Mansion for awhile, I'm 4 for 8 on the $1 SnG's, even with the oversized rake?? Really want to get on their Cash Tables and give them a shot...

      Regards,

      To: SoyCD-Admin.

It's been 14 days since my last post concerning my problem with Mansion Poker failing to display the real money cash tables.

I went as far as the 24/7 online support could go to resolve this issue. Support said they were turning this over to their Tech Dept. to resolve??

Two weeks have passed, no email from Mansion, no change in my inability to access cash tables.

SoyCD, I also noted that since I live in Puerto Rico many sites consider me to be part of the USA. Mansion doesn't allow USA players?? They have not said so, but this might be why I can't see cash tables??

What can you guys do to help me get this mess fixed? I can't play anything but the $1 + .30 SnG's at Mansion for real money???

      Regards,

      Hey SpiriteWalker,

Since SoyCD is away, i'll try to help you out.

First, we don't have any influence on Mansion if they don't allow you to play.

Second, I don't think the problem comes from your residence. If they don't accept you, you even cannot play SnGs. Though the best way is to contact a guy on their live support and ask.

If you need further assistance, you can go and talk with me on MSN or Skype.

      Best regards,

thunderbird56, Thank you for your prompt reply.

I have talked to live support 5 times now.. Went as far as they can go... Nothing they suggested changed anything. Live support said they would turn this over to their 'Techies', but haven't heard anything from Mansion in 2 weeks, so don't look like the Techies are going to be much help either...

SoyCD said earlier in this thread that you guys would help me [perhaps] by getting my account removed from Mansion and then I would set up at another site?? Is this possible or am I just stuck??

      Hello SpiriteWalker,

A question right off the bat: Have you emailed their support? The live support is often not as efficient nor well trained as their E-mail support staff which is why these usually do better work.

Telling them of your dilema, how long you have been in limbo, and that the live support said they would contact the tech-department two weeks ago - might finally get something moving.

The problem from our side is that you have already 'received' your starting capital - otherwise I would have simply suggested moving you to another site. But if the Mansion E-mail support cannot help you I can ask our support in what way we might be able to help.

      Best regards,
      SoyCD

OK... Contacted Mansion Support by email yesterday, and they answered me today. While the response time is certainly terrific, the answer I received was not so terrific.

Mansion Tech Support says they can log onto my account and see the real money cash tables just fine, [of course they can], and have concluded that the problem is either with my firewall or my Anti-Virus.

What they are unable to explain, is WHY my system will accept and display real money tournament tables, but deny and disallow real money cash tables? If there is a difference in either 'Server' or 'Software execution', then that would seem to point to the source of my problem?

I uninstalled the Mansion client software, deleted Temp Int. Files and Cookies, and flushed DNS again. Then I disabled my AV before re-downloading and reinstalling the Mansion client... SAME PROBLEM, NO CHANGE IN APPEARANCE (or lack of in this case).

Until Mansion provides me with port assignments and ranges for their servers, I can't adjust my firewall to add Mansion to the 'safe' list.

It would seem to me that with the alleged 'thousands' of players using that site, someone else must have had a similar problem at some time?? It would make a lot more sense to me if I couldn't see ANY cash tables at all, don't you think??

This is certainly strange. I certainly have never heard of this kind problem with Mansion before. Have you tried opening your account from another computer/IP address (e.g. a friends place) before? (Just to make sure its really your PC/IP and not the account in itself)

As you stated it is very strange why you cannot open real money tables, yet real tournament tables - and I'm not quite sure where the problem lies :(

      Hello SoyCD,

It's not easy for us to try Mansion software on a 'friends' computer. We live in a small town in Puerto Rico... All of our friends locally are 'relatives' of my wife and don't own a computer, or, they are not 'friendly' enough to impose upon with such a request... Most of my computer 'friends' are in the USA, and that would require me to surrender my password info to let them try it for me... not a good idea!!!

In the end, this is just a moot point... I've already been told by Mansion Support that they are unwilling to give me a list of 'ports' and 'ranges' used by their software. Without this information my firewall will not allow me to set them up on its 'safe list'.

This problem has reached an impasse. My only option now is for you people to withdraw the funds from Mansion and help me get set up in a new account at another casino site. Failing that, I will be limited to playing only tournaments at Mansion?

      Please advise...

I'm so sorry to hear that the problem has still been unsolved, although we have tried our best to help you get it fixed. Since we already transferred the money and you actually got it on your account, it's almost impossible to give you another bankroll.

I'm not sure but it looks like the problem lies in your computer. You can reach me on Skype, I'll be happy to help you make some tests with your account if you want.

      Hello SpiriteWalker,

Sorry for the late response. This is quite a tough spot, to be honest. Mansions technical issues are as you understand out of our area of influence, and we cannot simply "withdraw" money out of your account, since it is in fact your money and your account. Furthermore you have already played with the funds which makes it even more complicated.

You can try contacting our support to see if an account withdrawal might be possible (http://www.pokerstrategy.com/help/) but I am not all too optimstic. If Mansion cannot resolve their problems, you are probably best off simply making your own deposit at another site. I would figure it to be relatively hard accumulating enough Mansion points playing mini-tournaments to actually be able to get 600 MPP in 90 days.

      Best regards,
      SoyCD
