      is my line here ok against him. If he was a much looser player would it be ok still or would calling or folding be a better option against a loose player.

      I'd in those spots prefer to just donk it on turn, it may easily even gain us the same fold equity. Since if he doesn't have a hand then he is willing to fold it anyways. But with Check/Raise we might just invest too much money. But of course this kind of line also fine if you expect him to be able to fold some strong hands or either way 2nd barrel a lot with air.

      But as you see you practically gave him even good odds for a FD. :) You made a min-raise. I don't like for that reason and donking yourself should be much better.
