      Was there any point me making that small bet on the river for a cheap show down? Since we are only beating KQ

      Hi,

      You also beat QJ, QT and other Qx hands that 39/11 might call, so I´m fine betting small on the river rather than c/f.

      Well, your line is totally fine and rather bet yourself the river than Check/Call or anything similar. Check/Folding could be an option since he is pretty passive player, although while he may still even have worse Qx hands, worse pairs. I'd still block-bet myself, although I don't like the idea of making it that small. If you are doing it for small-thin value then don't induce others to raise you, ~$1 would be my bet.

      It's not just against this opponent but overall, against some aggressive opponent you might easily just induce a raise from them with your bet size. You are never betting this way with strong hand.
