      Villain: 20/20/only 25 hands

It is a little big of a raise to call with 99, seen the SHC, but I did.
Flop: easy check, and he checks again.
      Turn: completes a straight draw.
Was it ok to have a go at it on the turn? or just give it up?

I think the call preflop is fine given that there's a limper who might overcall and is probably a fish.

I also like your turnbet, but I don't like the check on the river:
When he checks the flop he is unlikely to have Ax or a FD because most people bet them, so we can get a lot of better hands like TT-KK to fold if we bet the river - so I bet $0.52.
