      Hi,

With this hand I'm pretty sure I acted wrong on the turn, but I wasn't sure what exactly I should do. Was trying to get to the river cheaply, what other strategies could I use to do that in this situation (should I have just let him second barrell)?

I know that the preflop raise was rather loose, but blinds were folding to steals very very often and the BTN didn't have any crazy stats.

On the flop i need 30% equity to call, and given that I had 9 outs for the flush, my odds of hitting were ~36% so I think that was a correct call (with pot odds of 30%). On the turn though I need 24%, and I had 18%, so I guess that was incorrect. But I knew that IF I hit I'd take his stack, so I'm not sure how that factors into the maths. Had I missed I would definitely have laid the hand down.

      Thanks!

      Hello rudders93,

Preflop: Well, I wouldn't even advice to steal with such a hand. Of course it's possible but if you have loose opponents behind you then rather not. You can't hit with the hand much.

      As played
Flop: Well, I guess I'd even consider CBetting into this kind of board on Axx with my FD rather than Check/Call it. Might gain as well fold equity.

      As played
Turn: Why did you decide to donk it? You didn't CBet it although donk the turn, just doesn't make sense.

      As played
River: Ship yourself to avoid him Checking behind!

      Best Regards.
