UTG2 bets $0.2, Hero folds, UTG2 gets uncalled bet back.

Called with overcards, figuring 6 outs was good enough, but now I doubt myself (Silly... I know it was wrong). Then called with flush draw, getting considerable equity. Right moves?

Hey vanderveen89, thanks for sharing your hand with us!

First, re-buy to max at these tables.

You have enough equity to shove the turn here. Calling, check/fold if you don't hit a :diamond: is fine.

I would only even Open for .08, five BB is on the heavy side

Why should i buy in at max? Max is $5 and i cant afford fifty buy ins at that price. Ive been playing shortstack and slowly increasing my buy in sizes as i build up my bankroll.

Also how do you figure i have equity to shove?
But nice to know i played the hand moderately well.

      Hello vanderveen89,

Welcome to the NL Hand Evaluation Forum! Hopefully we will see more hands from you in the future. I hope that with our help you can improve your play and as well move up the limits. We will be waiting for the next hands and till that good luck on tables!

Add to full stack if you are playing BSS, so $2(100BB). There is no strategy you are following at all right now.

But as played Standard fold on flop, I don't really see why should you even continue there with just overcards?

      Best Regards.

No I wasn't exactly following a set strategy. But thanks for the tips!

I would advice to. :) You either are going to loose a lot value in long run if not following the BSS rules or just playing too loose with your hands if playing shorter.
