      I checked the flop to see if there would be a bet from another player, although in retrospect I would have lost my stack to a player with a better kicker so maybe I should have bet the flop anyway.

      I shoved the turn in the hope that a player with a 10 or maybe an Ace would interpret my shove as a bluff.

      Hello brooksjohn,

      Flop: Totally overplayed your hand! You will never get value like this. Just bet smallish right on flop and protect your hand.

      As played
      Turn: Shoving is just overplaying your hand. You will have hard time them to Call with a lot worse, draw never calls. Make a pot size bet or a small overbet. :)
