I had prevoulsy played a hand where I tried to steal BVB with this guy and he flatted me pre with QQ. Called bet on J66, checked back the turn blank, and flatted the river blank card 1/3 pot bet with QQ. I had J9s He started typing in chat that I was a fish etc which I ignored. This hand came up a short time later.

I raise and he 3-bets. This should tell me that he is huge since he flatted BvB previously with QQ so upon consideration I think 4-betting him is probably a bit thin, but he may have adapted since there had been a few orbits where I was stealing. I decide to 4-bet him anyway but when he 5-bet Jams me am I obliged to call it off? We are both a bit deeper.

He started typing in chat again shouting "FISH, YOU ARE A FISH" etc so I decide to just give it up here thinking he was trying to gaude me into a call.

Should I not let this kind of chat influence my decision?

Should I just flat his 3bet pre and keep bluffs/Blocker hands which i dominate in his range?

      Hello Meemawuk,

Well, what's the idea in first place to even go for 4bet? I mean you practically just making all worse to fold and most likely those hands against you flip will ship. :D Rarely he will Call you.

For that given reason while even being a bit deeper then I'd definitely consider Calling his 3bet than going for a 4bet and isolate myself against very strong hands. I mean if you go for 4bet then plan to go as well broke. :) His 5bet ain't gonna be worse than AK anyways unless you had some crazy stuff going on.

But just ignore those guys. :D Don't tilt yourself and laugh and them, I mean according the stats the guy doesn't seem to be like a very good player either. :D Also if such a player talks such a crap then he ain't a good player either. Just find some nice sentences when you win the hand like, "who is the fish now?" and so on, which definitely make him tilt. :)

      Best Regards.

Thanks Veriz. Sage words as always. I wasn't tilted by this and I know that I should have flatted his 3-bet. I just hate to play OOP without the initiative. It seems so passive to me. I also feel it is when I play my worst poker.

Well, it's just a part which you will have to get used to on later limits. For the very beginner level I could of course say that just Raise/Fold and don't take any other situations but I guess you are already more advanced player so should talk about more advanced play as well. Although then it comes into handy how to play it postflop and how to react to his actions and stuff.

Only times, when I want to have fun against really arrogant players. Against fish it isn't that profitable because I am playing almost whit the same players on my right every session... and its better to make them think it's luck game and so on ^^

Sadly I don't have $$ for live games, doesn't have bankroll for NL400+ =[ And I think you need to be very brave to do this in live + to know against who you can afford to go like this and against who would be better to shot the f* off :D
Anyway I enjoy improving and stepping up whit time, one day I will be there anyway, just the matter of time :)
