I would definitely bet turn, because he just c/c the flop. If he calls again, I would give up the hand, the only thing we beat is a busted flushdraw/ lower pp.

      Hello Meemawuk,

Nah, not really. It's a trap I would say, most likely he had the Ace and went for inducement. I would either Check behind the flop and bet the turn or play it this way as you did. He ain't bluffing there. Nice hand! If he wanted to bluff he would just CBet the flop.

      Best Regards.

Wow. Upon re-reading this hand I realised I wasn't the preflop raiser. Hand seems standard. Apologies for posting pointless hand and not reviewing session correctly lol.

Why should you be sorry? You can post whatever you want, I don't mind.

I agree that not betting the flop is a really good option.

If he bets the turn would you consider calling it and calling x river,
since now it looks like your range doesn't consist of ace which would
bet the flop to protect, and now he could be induced to start bluffing even if he have give up on flop. AF=6

Obviously his c betting stats would be really help full.

You mean if we Check the turn and he bets the turn? Most likely I'd even consider either folding, or just Calling it only once. It's often a trap if they Check on such a board and rather just induce you to bluff. Since if he really wanted to gain fold equity, why didn't he just CB the flop.
