      Hi guys!

Im a spanish comunity coach wanting to improve my english, them sorry for the mistakes :D I am taking lessons so I will be improving.

I have a poker blog for 1 month in a spanish comunity and the reason is that motivation needed because i lost 85% of my bankroll in FTP ;(

As the regulation is coming to Spain and it will get in January I proposed me a challenge.

3k to 20k before the end of the year

I want to get it playing at NL100sh online and NL200 live. The challenge began very risky whith 10 stacks to play online in Bodog and other 10 to play live.

Fortunately in the first 30 days I doubled the original amount so there is no risk of bursting now.

This is my graph since I started the challenge. There are not many hands because i play only 4 tables at the same time.

About the live games there is not much to say, people are very bad, loose passivse and some maniacs. It is boring but profitable. I play almost every day.

See you and Good luck! :)

Hi guys, I bring here some hands.

      NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
      SB ($56.08)
      BB ($56.10)
      UTG ($274)
      UTG+1 ($144)
      CO ($48.50)
      Hero ($222)

      Dealt to Hero 5:club: 6:spade:

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $2.25, SB calls $1.75, BB calls $1.25

      FLOP ($6.75) 8:diamond: 9:heart: 4:club:

SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks

      TURN ($6.75) 8:diamond: 9:heart: 4:club: 7:heart:

SB bets $3, BB folds, Hero raises to $15, SB calls $12

      RIVER ($36.75) 8:diamond: 9:heart: 4:club: 7:heart: 2:heart:

SB bets $38.83 (AI), Hero calls $38.83

      Hero shows 5:club: 6:spade:
      (Pre 28%, Flop 26.6%, Turn 73.9%)

      SB shows K:heart: 6:heart:
      (Pre 71%, Flop 73.4%, Turn 26.1%)

      SB wins $111

Fold is the best option when an  is coming on the river. My turn raise is giving an odds of 33% when he have 26% of equity. Obviusly when he has implied odds the mistake is mine.

On the river i need win 33% of the time... and I don`t see here now.

      NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
      SB ($96.85)
      Hero ($121)
      UTG ($108)
      CO ($58.90)
      BTN ($87.47)

      Dealt to Hero J:heart: A:spade:

fold, fold, fold, SB raises to $3, Hero calls $2

      FLOP ($6) 7:heart: 3:diamond: T:spade:

SB bets $4, Hero calls $4

      TURN ($14) 7:heart: 3:diamond: T:spade: 8:diamond:

      SB checks, Hero checks

      RIVER ($14) 7:heart: 3:diamond: T:spade: 8:diamond: 9:spade:

SB bets $8, Hero raises to $19, SB raises to $37, Hero calls $18

      Hero shows J:heart: A:spade:
      (Pre 73%, Flop 84.6%, Turn 84.1%)

      SB shows J:club: Q:spade:
      (Pre 27%, Flop 15.4%, Turn 15.9%)

      SB wins $86

Other mistake at yesterday is in this hand. I played well to the river where i have to play always raise/Fold. He is giving me very good odds, 20% but he never is raising againg with my hand or worst.

The ghosts of split pot appeared to me and i couldn`t fold in that situation :(

      NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
      SB ($56.31)
      BB ($88.84)
      Hero ($96.28)
      UTG+1 ($66.30)
      CO ($111)
      BTN ($72.23)

      Dealt to Hero 5:club: 6:club:

Hero raises to $3.50, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB raises to $8, Hero calls $4.50

      FLOP ($16.50) 5:spade: J:heart: 2:club:

      BB checks, Hero checks

      TURN ($16.50) 5:spade: J:heart: 2:club: T:club:

BB bets $16.50, Hero calls $16.50

      RIVER ($49.50) 5:spade: J:heart: 2:club: T:club: K:club:

BB bets $49.50, Hero raises to $71.78 (AI), BB calls $14.84 (AI)

      BB shows A:heart: A:club:
      (Pre 78%, Flop 76.5%, Turn 70.5%)

      Hero shows 5:club: 6:club:
      (Pre 22%, Flop 23.5%, Turn 29.5%)

      Hero wins $175

Fortunately, the villains are committing even more serious faults like this :)

Hi guys. Today was a day of high volume, is very hard try to make 1k hands a day playing only 4 tables at the same time. But today was 2,3k :D

The rest of the week im going to play less because i wont to progress in the translate of DLTPH. Funny book.

      This is my graff day.

When the day started I was motivated to try to keep my floating red line but as you can see it's impossible to me :( Some coaches have to change it!

In poker (and life) you have to be flexible. Frist im going to make a float with some outs. Second i have to make a value bet and third im have to fold because he never turns in bluff in addition with that size.

      (Pre 80%, Flop 91.9%, Turn 95.5%)

      Hero wins $19.50

      Hi guys!

I'll include a few words about the chapters I read DLTPH. At the moment I take three.

      1º Avoid the tough decisions.

This chapter talks about how was the game before. When everyone was limp or made small raises Doyles arrived and began making 10bbs raises. Then began the 3b lights that had to be countered with 4b lights and these to shove. You can have a unexploited play with ranges entirely 3b/4b/5b balanced. But then where can we take advantage still in NLH? Well posflop where you have to make difficult decisions without initiative in 3bet pots etc...

Preflop is a street, there are 3 that have not been resolved.

      2º The pre-flop play doesn`t matter.

Well it is clear that the postflop game is more important because posflop includes three streets but preflop is the first so conditions the other 3.

3° The starting hand charts are for beginners.

Ok, is a good way to do the beginners don`t eat the head preflop and use their energy to play the following streets as well as a basic range help to experienced players who want to play many tables and until they have reliable stats need a game automatic.

Currently there is bringing me nothing amazing but it sure is going to be complicated. However, if you want to advance is always good from where you know. Besides, I have no roll, is a world for me to step back so slowly NL200.

Is just time to review and to learn English :)

My today`s goal is out paly to regulars. I am going to default 3b AXs and I will get 3 barrels to see what happens.

Coldcall with each suited connector or bradway to float or reraise the turns for example.

I think that i can exploit my image.

What will happen? I hope to learn some conclusions from the mistakes.

      Hey JayFranckdj,

Found your blog and got interested since your a coach, playing NL100. What kind of game do you teach? :)
Sad to read about the new Spanish legislation. I guess I can understand the reasons they have for implementing the new law, France and a few others already have something similar going ... but what I don't get is, isn't the EU supposed to be based on open borders for citizens, industry, commerce ... how do laws like this one make sense? One would think they're in direct violation of what the EU stands for :)

I'll be following your blog, as I'm currently playing NL50SH, trying to push up to NL100SH. Hope to pick up a grain of knowledge from your experience as well :) GLATT!

I played a lot of hands today. A fucking shame the last five hundred hands  But the good is that I no longer dock at non shadown and the month is well.

I have to improve my deep game. I dont feel comfortable.
