      i know most people say dont fold KK pre but it this maybe a spot to think about it?
      or is it fine with 40bb and only think about it with 100b.
      QQ in the same spot is a fold though i assume?

      QQ is indeed a fold in this spot yes but with KK, you are still ahead against QQ/AK and only behind against AA so I won't even think about folding preflop with KK. Your hand sample is not sufficient enough to proof he can only have AA
