      i was worried about the flush draw, so i thought raiseing would be the best option.

      On the flop i would have called, as you were in position. From his bet he was most likely bluffing or had a pocket pair and thought he was good.

      you could be right, he might have been bluffing, but with that kind of bet he also could have had a draw.

      Hello tofu22,

      Yep, I would also raise there to protect my hand, there is not only a FD but as well some GSs possible. Nice hand! I am not giving respect to those type of hands. Most likely if he even had a draw he would be paying us anyways and it would be much easier to go all-in by river if needed.
