      Interesting hand:)

Its difficult to put him on AQ without beting preflop. But with hand like that there is no straight or flush possibility on the river.

A6, A2, A9, K6 are hands that beats you and he just called turn.

I think it would be nice to raise him to 3 on river to force him call with weaker hand like Ax and Kx

will see what judges will say:)

      Hello BrinkyBill,

Well, first of all. Raising the river is excluded, there is no way we can raise there for value with our hand being in freeplay pot.

Actually rather the question is if to Call the flop at all or not, might just put us into difficult spots. If he is rather passive player then I might even skip it. Although if you consider him being aggressive enough then floating should be fine.

      Best Regards.

I dont know why is so wrong to raise a bit river. We showed aggresion on turn and villian called us.

Then he just makes a small bet and i think he show us that he is not strong and he just want to see showdown cheaply. Why it could be so wrong to raise to 3,5 river??

Can u please explain it to me?

      Thanks in advance.

I would raise pre flop since he is really lose and could complete whit any 2, you will have position and initiative against fish, more money in long run.

      a) Because it's a freeplay pot?
      b) We just have very weak 2pairs?
      c) There ain't gonna be a lot of worse hands which pay you?
      d) Don't take results into consideration?

      e) What's your plan if you get 3bet? :>

I didnt take the result in consideration i just thought that his kind of play show us that we are ahead and that he just want to see a cheap showdown.

There is also no flush and no streight possibility.

OF course i agree with your reasons.

Just explain me a bit more please about where is the difference between freeplay and why is that a reason...i dont know if i found any of this reasons in articles i read so far.

      Thank you and good luck.

Well, the case is that would you ever pay with TP in freeplay pot vs river raise? No, you wouldn't. :) And simple you will also see very strong hands only there which Call your river raise. Why couldn't he 2pairs there with the Ace?
