opponent is a tag, but i just dont know if i can fold. Thinking about it later though the only hand that i beat logically is air or a Q as i dont think he has AQ very often but lower Q is possible.

wow sucks pretty bad. tbh I cannot see someone on NL10 doing this as a bluff (like floating two streets and bluffing the river) and JX, weaker pairs or KK/AA (these are probably just 3betting pre as well, maybe AQ) are probably just checking behind on the river.

So its a crying fold I think because unless you think your opponent is capable of floating two streets or value betting JX or something, then he probably has AQ, a flush 44/JJ.

what did villain have out of interest?

      Pocket JJ.......

i have run 8BI below EV last 3k hands i have seen some crazy stuff beat me.

flush i feel is very unlikely, opponent is a tag and i dont think he is ever calling that turn with flush draw.

Im just hoping that he has Q10 or QJ here often enough for me to be able to call..
JJ should really really 3 bet pre and 44s seem so unlikely but must be what he would have or air.

      Hello Wacko118,

Well, the problem on river is that even a draw completed. I don't really see what hands he would turn into bluff. Do you really think that he would even bet any weaker pair there?

The only option would be to bet ourselves as blocker to gain value from worse PPs/pairs rather than Check/Call it. If I'd Check on such a board then I'd be towards Check/Folding, what did miss there on river? You might beat something like QT and that's the only thing. Doubt that there are going to be a lot worse Qx in his range unless he is a station.

      Best Regards.
