Not sure about the turn raise/fold here. I wanted to protection / value from weaker Aces and draws on the turn. But then when the river blanks I decided to go to showdown instead of value betting river.

I am not being results orientated here, but since I raised the turn for value. I should bet about 1/2 pot on river and fold to a raise, or is that too spewy since the pot is large and my hand is marginal?

Is it better to just call Turn bet for pot control and try to get to showdown cheaper?

      Villain is an unknown.

      Thanks

      Hello muel294,

Nah, not really. He also has couple of draws in his range there. Most likely I would have played the same way, river value-bet is anyways pretty thin, so even if you do skip it's not a huge deal. But obviously it would be possible to bet there ~$1,50 or something similar.

      Best Regards.
