      I raise and cbet- standard.

on the turn I decide to check because I think he will check back his draws and protect any made hand. I want more information about his hand because I feel like if I double barrel here, I have to check-fold a lot of rivers.

When he bets I give him Ax/Kx. and I call.

I decide to check the river but when I think about what he might think I have, it makes no sense. He probably puts me on some kind of missed draw or Kx that cant call the river anyway. If I decide to take this line on the turn, is donking the river okay?

      Hello Meemawuk,

Most likely I'd rather Bet/Fold the turn for protection and at the same time bet it for free showdown than Check/Call and turn my hand into bluff-catcher.

      Best Regards.
