      Hi,

      I think calling and 3betting preflop are both fine.
      On the flop I would raise for sure for value/protection.
      River is a clear fold imo.

      Hello benaars,

      Raising flop would be anyways overplayed, most likely I'd just Bet/Fold the turn for free showdown and protection vs FD. Giving up the right might be a bit weak even. :) But to avoid that protect the turn.

      Best Regards.

      Why is raising the turn overplayed?
      MP3 range is still pretty wide imo and this isnt a board we'd like to give freecards?

      thanks

      a) You can't raise the turn.

      If you are talking about raising the flop then:
      a) The guy over-bets;
      b) If you get it in then most likely at the best a coinflip for us.

      Even against something like:
      http://www.pokerstrategy.com
      Board: Qh9h8h
      Equity Win Tie
      UTG 43.79% 43.74% 0.05% { AhKc }
      UTG+1 56.21% 56.16% 0.05% { AdQd }

      It's a flip. :) Strong made hands:
      http://www.pokerstrategy.com
      Board: Qh9h8h
      Equity Win Tie
      UTG 84.22% 82.47% 1.75% { KK+, 99-88, AhKc, KhQc }
      UTG+1 15.78% 14.03% 1.75% { AdQd }

      Hi,

      Yes I meant flop :)
      I thought about raise to 1,20 and folding to a shove.
      But yeah when called/shoved into we're beat so it's only a bluff.

      Lesson learned (hopefully :) )

      Thanks

      T.
