      Hand 1:

      Raise PF (~$0.90).

Raise more on the flop (~$0.65).

      Hand 2:

I'd raise the flop (~$1.55). You were the agressor PF and I see no reason to slow down. You've got K high flush draw and two overcards on a board that probably didn't help anyone.

On the turn it's OK to raise, but I wouldn't just minraise.

      Well, I'd say it's bad play. :(

I agree with Faye on both hands.

      1. Raise with your AA. Don't be clever, the guy has less than half a stack. Make him put more in preflop, or get out. You don't want to play cute, and watch your premiums sucked out on. That will happen often enough when you play correctly.

If you raise and he calls it, the pot on the flop is $2, and he only has $2.33 left. You can push him all in on any bet he makes, bet and get him all in if he checks. There is a flush draw, you wouldn't want to check behind and see that gobble you up.

      2. You have a FD to the second nuts and two overs, and the correct raise would be 1.8. Hell, why not make it an even 2? You could take the pot down right away. That would be a good result for a drawing hand.

SB will fold, but by acting weakly, you gave him odds of 1:18 on the flop, which he can call with anything. UTG should now fold any draw.

On this turn, you now have top pair as well. Chances are UTG checks to you, and you shove. The pot is 5.6, and he only has 4. So he gets just over 1:2, so unless he has 12 or more outs, he can't call.

I haven't checked your results, which, by the way, you shouldn't post. But I think this hand should have been played this way regardless of what UTG showed.

Please only post 1 hand per thread. Thanks

      1. I like your line. nh

      2. Raise flop, call shove: you have a FD+2 Overcards and a ton of fold equity.

Well, I like $1.80 or $1.90... but $2? I don't like overbetting the pot unless myself or villain is almost all-in. It's only a little overbetting though, so maybe it's not such a big deal.

Ooops, I was focused on postflop. Preflop its a 3-bet most of the time. You may consider mixing in calls, but typically I 3-bet 90% of the time. Thanks Faye6891 for bringing this up!

Well, for a moment I thought I'd seriously have to reevaluate the way I play my Aces. :D
