I 3-bet pre IP which I think is standard and he calls.

He check calls the flop which concerns me slighty. I dont think there are many Tx hands in his range so I can only get value from JJ by betting the turn, and HE might show up with at set here? I decide to check back for pot control.

I am surprised when he checsk the river since I think he would bet JJ here so I decide to make a small bet thinking he might call with 99/JJ tough I'm not really sure what he has at this point.

      Hello Meemawuk,

Bet the turn as well and most likely I'd even go for value here. We still need to protect our hand and he may easily even have Tx hands some X:hX type of hands which may even have an overcard. Plus you most likely went for value preflop which means we also playing for the stacks postflop.

      Best Regards.
