This was part of my trying to be more aggressive and 3betting more plan. Didn't work out here. He must have had AK

      Position:
      Stack
      MP2:
      $12.97
      Hero:
      $10.23

      0.05/0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy.com Elephant 0.102 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is CO with A:diamond: , J:diamond:
      3 folds, MP2 raises to $0.30, MP3 folds, Hero raises to $0.90, 3 folds, MP2 calls $0.60.

      Flop: ($1.95) A:spade: , 7:club: , 4:club: (2 players)
      MP2 checks, Hero bets $1.5, MP2 raises to $3.00, Hero calls $1.50.

      Turn: ($7.95) 5:diamond: (2 players)
      MP2 checks, Hero checks.

      River: ($7.95) T:diamond: (2 players)
      MP2 bets $9.07 (All-In), Hero folds, MP2 gets uncalled bet back (All-In).

      Final Pot: $7.95

      Hello clandestineAl,

Against such a player I don't like that much the 3betting. Exactly that kind of case will happen postflop that you will Call the flop while you could easily be even dominated. You will never know where you stand with your TP. Rather just Call and play it postflop.

      Best Regards.

So I can call against those kind of players? Am I not better just folding it rather than not being the aggressor and then having to hit which won't be that often

If we are talking about preflop then yep, I'd really rather Call and play postflop. :)
