      Hi!

First of all I would raise it preflop, to play against less oponents.
As played, I would c/c river, because there is value only against some 8x, but he might fold those too. He probably has a weak hand (8x) or a draw, because he didnt raise flop/turn. Kx is not in his range, I think he would fold 7x on turn, and there are a lots of busted draws, so let him bluff, c/c river.

Ok. Thank you for the comments.

The reason for me not c/c river is that I have a tendency to play the sherif too ofthen and Call big bets on river when I just have to see if they bluff.
My thought here was to bet smallish In order to save some money as I thought I would most ofthen be behind if he raises. And thought he could Call a small bet with 8x.

      Hello StraGus,

Preflop: You can easily even raise right here while 99 is strong enough to do that.

      As played
Postflop: Just Check/Fold the river, I doubt that he is betting with a lot worse and I doubt that there is much value anyways. It's a freeplay anyways, not worth fighting over the pot.

      Best Regards.

C/C is not good? Lots of busted draws.

      Thanks

Well, it's just a freeplay pot. I wouldn't really turn my hand into bluff catcher, there ain't gonna be that many of them. Plus all weaker pairs are going to Check behind, while they may still pay us if we do bet.
