Villain super loose although I only had 40 hands on him. Turn card was a scare as diamond and straight draw got there.

How should I play the turn? I do not want to check and relinquish control of the pot. I would have folded to a raise.

As played, should I have bet the river? I am afraid of the completed draws especially when villain can be holding any two cards.
