Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

      Known players:
      BB (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5, J.
      UTG2 calls $0.02, 6 folds, Hero checks.

      Flop: ($0.05) 5, 5, K (2 players)
Hero bets $0.05, UTG2 raises to $0.20, Hero raises to $0.70, UTG2 raises to $2.82, Hero calls $1.28.

      Turn: ($4.85) 2 (2 players)

      River: ($4.85) 9 (2 players)

      Final Pot: $4.85.
      Results follow:

      UTG2 shows three of a kind, fives(5 A).
Hero shows three of a kind, fives(5 J).

      UTG2 wins with three of a kind, fives(5 A).

Am I wrong to ship here? Kx is in his range, so is 56s and middle PPs. I figured Q5-A5 was pretty unlikely, Ah5h is the only combo he's likely to limp with from UTG surely? Reraise on flop could easily be Kx or a bluff and once I 3-bet so big I was committed.
Maybe I should just call on flop, or 3-bet/fold (3bet a little smaller)

      Hello numbnutter,

Well, while you also put into his range weaker 5x hands then I doubt that I would play it any differently. It wouldn't change on the turn for us anyways much unless we hit the J. Most likely I'd also consider playing for the stacks. Doubt that we would see much different hand here than the 5x.

      Best Regards.
