Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.02/$0.04 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)

      Known players:
      MP2:
      $1.53
      MP3:
      $6.41
      CO (Hero):
      $4.00
      BU:
      $4.00
      SB:
      $1.56
      BB:
      $1.92
      MP1:
      $5.41

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, J.
      MP1 folds, MP2 calls $0.04, MP3 calls $0.04, Hero raises to $0.24, BU calls $0.24, 3 folds, MP3 calls $0.20.

      Flop: ($0.82) 8, A, Q (3 players)
MP3 checks, Hero bets $0.52, BU raises to $1.56, MP3 folds, Hero folds, BU gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $1.34.

not really sure what to make of this. im more scared of a check raise on a dry board than one that is draw heavy like this... what do you think of this? i know folding is definitely not a mistake here but i wonder what else i could do.

      Hi,

Being 3-way you can easily b/f flop, since players would generally not raise that spots light or if they raise then only hands that crush you: AQ, A8s, 88 or combo draws, like KcTc, sometimes also A high flushdraws.
I think you generally should find better spots to put your money in, so
I would also b/f that spot against unknowns.
