So you play a gruling multi level series and you come out on top. On the filght to the WSOP you go over all the great stuff Poker Strategy has made available. Your figuring out pot odds, hand odds etc...

      Then panic sets in.....

How do I read people in person and how do I protect my self? what are common tells? Do I have tells?

I think PS should have lessons for in person play that way we are prepared for all poker situations.

      What do you think?

well pokerstrategy is a business. they make money out of the rake we generate.

casinos are not partners with pokerstrategy yet as far as i know, so this move by pokerstrategy would be -EV

Yah but think how great it will for PS when I win the WSOP and I say I owe this win to poker strategy. For all the great online and in person play poker knowledge.

I guess I can just go read some books. I just think it would be cool to have a little info on in person play here at poker strategy.

      Hey CardBender420 ;)

We are actually working on some articles on live play, tells, home games etc.

Should be out in the future, but until then there are several good books on the topic :)

      Best regards,

Just analyze their play and after 50 hands against them, tape some numbers to their heads.

Lol. That's a good way to get a life ban from a casino, start sticking little peaces of paper on their guest :D

50 hands is 2 hours though. Guess you're just slow ;)

In my opinion everybody who wants to know something about how to prepare

for a live tournament and wants to know sth about tells, should just read

"Caro's Book of Poker Tells " or some of the Articles from Joe Navarro.

Even the most pros did that to prepare themselves....

      ROFLMAO :D

Seriously, I have been in some jobs where I had to do a kind of heads up thing in meetings and I can say that even if it sounds weird, a little breathing meditation in the morning after waking up works wonders... I never thought of sticking paper to their heads but I will try it in future.....
