      Hero (BTN): $26.23 (131.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 7 5
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.57, SB folds, BB raises to $1.81, Hero calls $1.24

      Flop: ($3.72) A 8 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.86, BB calls $1.86

      Results: $25.12 pot ($1.25 rake)
      Final Board: A 8 3 K 5
Hero mucked 7 5 and lost (-$12.51 net)
BB mucked and won $23.87 ($11.36 net)

My thought process goes like this:

PREFLOP: Standard BU open raise, after BB did 3bet, I called because villian gave me ~19:1 implied odds. Range I put him on is AQs+, AK, JJ+ (3,32%)

FLOP: He checked so my plan is to bet two streets to have him fold JJ-KK After villian called, his range doesn't change much. But more probably he does that with JJ+, but cannot discount AQs+ and AKo.

TURN: Maybe should have better checked behind as one hand that I'm trying to fold out, just improved. After he check/raises me his range shrinks to only KK+ and AK, but he is giving me 3.91:1 direct pot odds to hit my flush. (and €13 behind him for implied odds).

RIVER: It would be rough if he shoves 3 :spade: or 8 :spade: here, but i guess I would have to call. If he checks i have easy ship on his AK

Does this play makes sense? Please point to any flaw in my thought process. Is it ok to call this suited one gapper for implied odds?

I thin 89/ 67 / JT / T9/ are much better to call than your 75 for sure all suited.

I think folding would be better pre-flop. You´re forcing yourself into plays postflop against very strong range that shouldn´t really have no reason if you just raise/fold pf.
I have never seen really player c/f on Axxr board so unless you really want 3-barreling him I think better just to check back and try to hit your runner-runner spades or 7/5.
Turn I´d prefer barreling since he now would fold QQ-TT and aaginst c/r I think call ip is fine. He is not getting away his two pair or set on the river if you make your flush.
