How much have you earned and pleasantly spent from poker?

Across the forums I read many posts, mentioning bankrolls, collecting money to move to the higher limit, bankroll management and so on. But actually the main reason we are playing poker(at least for me it is) is to make some money to help our daily life. And I rarely come across people saying how much actually they have won.

What I am posting this topic for is my interest on your withdrawal policy. How do you decide when to withdraw, how much do you withdraw, and on the whole, approximately, how much have you withdrawn to your bank account from the poker platforms? Is the money enough to suit the needs of a university student for instance - playing on limits like NL50?

For what have you invested your poker money? Or it's just your "coffee" money, so to say :)

Such things... share your experience, it would be interesting :)

Untill I reach 10/20 FL I won't cashout unless I really have to. In my opinion it's all playmoney now and it's just a tool to get me to the limits where I can win real money.

      If I play with 2BB/100 now I will make a bit over $20/h, if I play with 1BB/100 at 10/20 I will make $75/h.

Let's say you play 30.000 hands per month (4 tabling, daily about 3h) and you earn 6BB/100 hands which is solid rate. You earn 900$ monthly.
It's possible to withdraw all winnings every month but you have to expect downswings which won't allow you to cashout every single month.

My first withdraw will be at 10.000$ mark, that's the plan :D

      Overall I agree with Yoghi.

Yoghi, you didnt exactly answer him :D
finchybg, yes poker has real money to offer, and with some (3-4-5 months) practice, you can make enough to suit your daily needs( especially in bulgaria). As for me, i played a month and a half seriously, got to NL25, and withdrawed only my rakeback(around 150$),and some material prizes ofc :) , im building a big nice bankroll now so i can go to NL50.If you play regulary ( i mean like 2-3-4 hours a day) at NL50 you may be able to get up to $400-500(on my calculations) only from rakeback - that means that you can withdraw only the rakeback, and dont need to touch your bankroll for your daily needs. In addition, if you are a winning player, you can withdraw a part of your winnings too, making it more than enough :)

      oh god... organic chemistry :( :( :(

i've withdrawn 400usd :P (playstation 3). i have LOTS of money saved up from lots of things, so i don't really need to withdraw. i guess i'll start withdrawing either when i really need to, or when i hit a nice limit that i feel like settling down on.
