      Villain 37/23 over 86 hands. Has made some really silly plays while I've been watching him.

      I really wasn't sure what to do on this hand.

      I think betting flop was the better idea, to save giving away cards?

      But I went for pot control so c/c.

      Not really 100% why I bet half pot river, I guess as a blockbet, but in honesty it doesn't really make sense, I wouldn't be able to profitably call a shove, so there's no point to it. Either make it smaller or not at all?

      Hello Jim4rdo,

      Even if you Call the flop which is fine of course, another option would be to Check/Raise the flop and protect from overcards. But as you Call I doubt that I'd actually continue on turn, most likely rather just give it up while we don't even know that much him.

      Block-betting the river obviously doesn't make sense at all. What worse hands do you think he is calling you?
