check behind the turn for pot control... unless you really think he's THAT loose to call you down with something like A9...

i wouldnt go for pot control here . i would bet on the flop smth like 7.5 and go for value again on the turn . he can easily take this line with 10 10 jj qq . most of the times we are ahead here imo .
edit : bad read of the hand 1st time :)

well he's in position for starters, so you can't really check/raise. what do you hope for with a potsize bet on a drawless flop?!

and as for turnplay i don't like playing for stacks with an overpair on a drawless board..

      Villain Stats: VPIP 60 / PFR 10 / AF 1 / 40 Hands

Well, I think a 9, TT, JJ and QQ are in his range, that's why I disregarded pot control here. But I'm not pretty sure it was the best line.

Reraised pot, overpair vs 80 BB fish...
Meh, I'm allin ... no way I'm not betting that turn, no way I'm not cursing the mofo for mincheckraising me at the turn, no way I'm laying it down.

Easy bet/call on turn imo. If he has better hand than you, even if you check behind turn , he's obviously going to bet either big on river or going directly AI and you have to call. If he has a worse hand or a draw, you're going to miss value with turn check behind.

Besides, against such player I want all my money in with good overpair as soon as possible.
