pokerstars withdrawal problem

      this happened last summer...

      i withdrew 100 usd to my visa debit card, and after a week or so when i checked my account it did not come in. so i contacted pokerstars regarding this and they told me that i have to go to my bank and get a copy of my bank statement showing that there was no deposit from pokerstars to my account.

      i did this and sent the document that they have asked. after that they ask me to go to my bank and ask a letter from the bank that there was no deposit done to my account.

      at this time i explained to them that the bank that i use is two cities away from my home (they are the only one who have a visa card) and that i gave them my banks name and its contact number for them to figure out for themselves what happened to my cash out... but still they insisted that i do it myself. inwhich, once again i went to my bank and asked for the documents that they required.

      when i gave them that document, they gave me a tracking number asked me to once again go back to my bank and ask a specialist to create a letter stating that there was no deposit to my account with this tracking number...

      by this time i have spent almost 100usd going to my bank getting the document that they require, so i gave up.

      players you have been warned... they could have easily contacted my bank and solved this problem with zero cost. sadly it is not in thier protocol to help its players.

      sry to hear about ur cashout troubles.

      did u deposit using a different bank account at any point?? i had a similar problem with stars once but after some investigation and a lot of confusion it turned out for some strange reason they sent the funds to a different account than the one i requested (which happened to be the last account i deposited from).

      might be worth thinking about if u borrowed a friends card to deposit or something?

      nope... i specifically got a visa card for the sole purpose of using it at pokerstars my card was only used at thier site and it was the only one that i use to deposit it on...

      thier record show that they have deposited the money to my account. but my bank never recieve it... the problem with thier support is that they could easily solve the problem with a phone or an email to my bank... instead they would rather have me spent time and money going back and forth to my bank asking for informations... it even been better if they told me up front all the documents they need to locate my money; instead of asking one document, then asking another...

      before i gave up ive probably spent more than 8hrs and about 40usd in gas getting the documents that they wanted(i went to the bank twice trying to resolve the problem)... and in thier last reply they wanted; once again for me to go to the bank and get another document.

      (funny thing was i asked thier support this "if i get that document will you give me a guarantee that it would be the last document that you will ask from me regarding this"... they did not give me that guarantee.

      fu.... stars support is so bad they have the biggest players they dont spend time to help small players support is so bad. i have same problems like that before each reply from mail support took almost a week!!!!! X( X( X( and no phone support coming from no1 pokersite. it sucks X( X( X( the costumers service is lame and timid from solving their large number of players they suk they should have paid all your troubles +the time and money you spend+your 100$ from their lame excusses. but it will never happen cause they suck bigtime :s_mad: :s_mad: :s_mad:

      i was actually shocked regarding the way they handled my problem...

      i was talking to thier support explaining to them that i did everything that they have asked in terms of depositing and withdrawing. and that this is not my mistake they should resolve it because they were the one who made the mistake. i have asked my bank and there was no deposit done to my account. PS have given me a tracking number to check at my bank if there was a deposit with this number and there was none. so basically it was also not my banks mistake. but still they insisted that i have to do things for them to be able to get my money...

      i was like why would i spend time and money to get my money? why should i do so when it was not my mistake niether is it my banks mistake...

      how come they choose not to contact my bank and resolve this issue in a matter of minutes?

      and are they not even concerned that some of the money that they send to thier players do not arrive?

      is'nt it a common practise that the payor is responsible for making sure that the payee receives the amount due to them? apparently at PS that is not the practise. and apparently they got to number 1 by stepping on the little guys...

      yah they to be got no1 on stepping on you and claiming your 100$. and other people to. there customer support service like i said suck big time no chat and phone support X( X( X( mail got answered over a weeek X( or more X( maybe its not the site but the support team has gobble your money thats why so many lame excusses ;( ;( ;(
