      Villain 56/21/0.9/45 VP/PF/AF/WTSD in 116 hands.

      I usually bet the turn again for value but this time I decided to control the pot due to the flop texture. Is it a bad play or is it ok? What if I bet the turn and get raised? Should I fold?

      Hey,

      Hmm I think you lose value versus Jx, Qx because loads of cards can come on the River u don't really like. Also I don't know what his betting range on the River is (polarized/depolarized) so I would just bet/fold the Turn.

      if he raises the Turn, he ain't bluffing you ;)

      Best regards,
      Gerv

      Try to answer those question by yourself by doing this:
      * Imagine the river card (:P )
      * Understand how his range is constructed till the river

      Can you report back to me after you did this? you don't have to solve it completely but I want you to follow the methodology I use

      humm... ok. I think that if he xc turn and lead river he'll be betting for value most of the time regardless the river card. I think he won't allow weaker hands to check behind in these situations most of the time.

      If he xr the river it's even stronger imo. Maybe some river cards can scary him (like an A on the river if he has a set e.g. and didn't raise flop+turn) and make him play xc but if he xr I think that most of the time it'll be for value (mainly in the micro limits). :f_p:

      I would valuebet the River when Turn goes x/x because I still feel he will c/c Worse hands. if he c/R you then it is game over and we just have to fold there

      Best regards,
