      Flop: ($0.27) 8, 9, 6 (3 players)

      Turn: ($0.75) J (2 players)

      Final Pot: $3.87.
      Results follow:

Hero shows two pairs, aces and nines(A A).
BU shows two pairs, queens and nines(Q Q).

Hero wins with two pairs, aces and nines(A A).

Board was getting very drawy so I decided to shove the turn here before any action dried up. Was this okay or should I just have continued value betting?

      Hello numbnutter,

Well, I am still not a huge fan of shipping like that directly. He will have hard time Calling with anything worse. I'd still make a normal bet of ~$0,60 and then most likely play for the stacks while Jx is also in his calling range on the flop.

      Best Regards.
