Did I miss out on some value here? The raise on the flop put me on edge a little but of course i'm not folding my set here. Bottom set though so i'm not too keen on playing for stacks so I switch to a passive line. Should I be betting the river after he checks to me to try and get a little value from Jx type hands or am I just isolating myself against better if I do?

Yeah... I think a series of bad beats and coolers may have made me overly cautious :/
Now that I look back at it his check raise wouldn't make any sense as a value bet because he would have to assume I would just check behind there.

      Hello numbnutter,

Bet the flop bigger ~$0,16 and then just 3bet and get it in. I don't really like to slowplay here, it wont change for us on the turn anyways much but rather it could change for him.

As played you could still bet the river for value. :)

      Best Regards.
