Hi everyone.. If u hav a hand that is not on the SHC, is it ever ok 2 call the big blind from the small blind when there are a few limpers? I could not find anything about this in the articles. Thanks in advance!

If that hand is not listed in the SHC, don't play! Just stick 100% to the strategy.

      Good luck!

      Hey VinoKOM,

There are a few card combinations which you can complete in the SB after several limpers - such as small pocket pairs and certain suited connectors. There should be some new articles on this soon :)

      Best regards,

You CAN complete pocket pairs from the smallblind after 3 limpers and from the Button or Cutoff after 4 limpers.
But please don't play them if you are unexperianced or feel uncomfortable with it!

      Good luck!

You can easily complete every pocket pair from small blind if you have 20BB according to call20 rule. It's profitable even from late position if you have passive oponents behind and few limpers in front of you.

"What does the entry "call 20" mean?
Basically, you are playing small pairs for the reason to hit a set on the flop. This happens just in 12% of all cases, but you have a strong hand when you hit it and your opponents will pay you off many times. This is important, since you have to compensate all the small losses where you have invested money without hitting a set."
