As part of my Lesson 4 Homework, I've been asked to evaluate a fellow members hand post, so here goes!

Ok, the raise with A9C pre-flop is ok. On the flop you might have tried a c-bet to get some info as the pre-flop raiser but a check is also fine. The check raise on the turn by villain could indicate a number of things, completed or straight/flush draws so I think the check call on the river is a good idea for pot control. Not much you could have done in my opinion, you had a strong hand, the river was a blank and against such a short stack I don't think going broke on this board is a massive mistake.

      Hello Sikac,

Flop: You could actually even CB here while you even have a pair.

      As played
Turn: Well, kinda hard to lay it down for that kind of odds while he could raise even with Ax hands and maybe even sometimes pair+draw.

      As played
River: Well, that's kinda close. The problem is that I doubt he would over-value his Ax hand here. The only hope is him having something like A5 and that's pretty much it. But while he could even have stronger hands, I guess I'd be even towards Check/Fold here while the bet seems to be pretty strong.

      Best Regards.
