I guess my call preflop was a bit loose but CO's call made me decide to call aswell. On the flop i went for a check raise. Was that a good decision? And what about the betsize?
How about the betsize on the river?

Nothing much to add on the hand, but note that you can only get a 'set' with a pocket pair that hits the board.

When the board pairs & you hit as above, you have trips.

Typically a set is a stronger hand to hit, with trips its always possible that someone else may have also hit trips (especially if they call you to showdown) and could have a better kicker / a full house.

      Hello YxieAA,

Most likely I'd rather prefer to just bet myself right on flop and avoid those spots where they Check behind or bet small. If we Check/Raise they will have hard time to Call with a lot worse. But overall we can't change much there on the turn, we have to bet.

      Best Regards.
