Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)

      Known players:
      MP1 (Hero):

      Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A, A.
Hero raises to $0.40, 5 folds, BB raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $4.00, BB folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $1.55.

i'm used to playing AA/KK preflop very aggressively just raise/reraise/shove type line but i feel like i'm actually wasting value by doing that because most of the time i will win the pot preflop when villain folds like he did above. rarely will i be up against KK/QQ or some fish with AK so is there anything i can do differently to maximise the value?

      Hello DrDunne,

Well, either way it's fine. Since we don't know the opponent you can as well just 4bet. It's not a mistake. :) But as well you could consider even flatting to keep weaker hands in the play and let him CB with them and then he most likely will feel committed.

      Best Regards.
