      ok my plan was to check call him on the turn and river but his raise was huge i dunno how to interpret this huge raise... his 80/0 over 44 hands AF 1.3 W$SD 67% WTSD 37%

      Hi, Shady.

      I wouldn't worry if I were you: since he is so passive and all the sudden bet so big, I really think you folded the worse hand. It might be that he made two pair, a set with 22, or even a straight on the turn.

      So I wouldn't sweat much on it and, if he bets like this as a bluff, bad for him.

      Usually on these spots I would lead the flop though, with a pot size. So many worse hands that can call - from jacks to even weaker aces to gutshots etc. His range is super wide so you can take advantage of it and valuebet your top pair. Unfortunately, against this guy it's rather bet/fold since it's not likely he will raise as a bluff often.

      You shouldn't go broke on a limped pot without a very strong hand - but that doesn't mean it's good to be passive.
