      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with J A
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.16, 2 folds, SB raises to $0.48, BB folds, Hero calls $0.32

      Flop: ($1) 3 5 K (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($1) 2 (2 players)
SB bets $1, Hero raises to $3, SB folds

      Results: $3 pot ($0.15 rake)
      Final Board: 3 5 K 2
      Hero mucked J A and won $2.85 ($1.37 net)
SB mucked and lost (-$1.48 net)

Should I just call his pot size bet here? I think his check on the flop means he has a monster like KK or else nothing. Even with KK he would have to protect against a flush and would surely bet the flop. For this reason I think a call might have been better as it gives him the chance to bluff the river.

If you agree with the raise do you think it is too much? Would ~2.50 be better?

      Hello 0744379,

Preflop: Well, I don't like the 1st Call here vs the 3bet. :) Your hand is way too often dominated and you wont play the hand profitable by Calling. Just fold it.

      As played
Postflop: Well, if he even Checks into you on the flop then most likely I'd also take a stab on the flop without any other reads/stats on the opponents. How else you gonna play the hand profitable if you even don't take stabs here. Otherwise not much to do on the turn.

      Best Regards.

Ok yes I was too loose preflop I have loosened up a litlle because my VP was a bit low and it was affecting my mindset but this is obviously not a spot where I should be calling.

I didnt take a stab at the pot because it was pretty large and I thought seeing a free card was better. I know that if a spade didnt come I would have to fold. If I did take a stab how much should I bet? I suppose a check raise from him would be very strange so I dont have to be too worried about it

      I'd bet something like $0,60.
