      BTN: $5.55 (138.8 bb)
      Hero (SB): $4.22 (105.5 bb)
      BB: $1.20 (30 bb)
      UTG: $6.59 (164.8 bb)
      MP: $1.04 (26 bb)
      CO: $5 (125 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7 7
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.14, Hero calls $0.12, BB folds

      Flop: ($0.32) A 7 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.24, Hero raises to $0.84, BTN calls $0.60

      Turn: ($2) T (2 players)
Hero bets $1.50, BTN raises to $3.28, Hero calls $1.74 and is all-in

      River: ($8.48) 4 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

      Results: $8.48 pot ($0.56 rake)
      Final Board: A 7 9 T 4
      BTN showed K A and won $0.00 (-$4.22 net)
      Hero mucked 7 7 and won $7.92 ($3.70 net)

We have the odds to call. We hit and go for a check raise because our opponent can call various high Ax hands + 2pair and we do have to protect against a possible flush draw. Is the c/r sizing good here?
Then we bet 2/3 pot on the turn to get value and protect. We also leave ourselves an amount that we can push on the river easily.

Also, how do you evaluate my opponent's play here?

      Hello Avatars91,

I'd actually even raise to $1 on the flop but it's not a huge mistake. Overall it seems to be fine. :) Nice hand!

As you see people pay very easily if they hit. :f_cool:

      Best Regards.

Yeah, this is a fine example of stacking someone with a set :) But then again I do expect to see much worse than AK raised from BU.

How do you evaluate my opponent's play?

Opponent most likely should just Bet/Fold it right on the flop or just 3bet and get it in.

Is his logic that bad in this spot? He might think that I c/r FDs in such spots, which I would fold against a 3bet, but might bet on the turn if called.
