That was perfect spot for a squeez but i decided to play for set value since i expected to have openraiser very strong range from SB. I dint really cared a lot about SB caller.

Well then this board comes and i wanted to take initiative showing that i have 8 since this is also in my range since i can call with very wide range like i did. Villian called and i decided to bet when another scare card came. Villian played like he is on draw or something so i decided to check river.

Is here squeez almost a must?
Is getting an initiative like that correct in such a spot.

How would you play hand like that?

      1) If MP2 opening range is very tight then call is fine. Postflop I´d played the same way planning to c/f river
      2) Standard play with nut flushdraw+overcards against 50bb midstack

      Best regards,
