Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.03/$0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      BU (Hero):

      UTG1 Stats 77/17/7.3/36 Hands

Preflop: Hero is BU with T, 9.
MP3 posts deadblind, MP3 posts deadblind, CO posts deadblind, UTG1 raises to $0.10, 5 folds, Hero calls $0.10, 2 folds, BB folds.

      Flop: ($0.41) T, 8, 9 (2 players)
UTG1 bets $0.41, Hero raises to $1.00, UTG1 raises to $7.06, Hero folds, UTG1 gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $1.41.

I re-raised to see if he really had anything or was just trying to bluff. This guy had been bluffing a lot and I re-raised to see if he would budge. How should I handle such a situation in future or did I play right?

      Hello maheepsangari,

Welcome to the NL Hand Evaluation Forum! Hopefully we will see more hands from you in the future. I hope that with our help you can improve your play and as well move up the limits. We will be waiting for the next hands and till that good luck on tables!

What's the idea behind the raise in first place? Don't raise if you don't want to play for the stacks. As you see the guy pots it then just Call and play postflop. :) If you plan to raise here then also you should consider playing for the stacks.

      Best Regards.
