My raise was based on the feeling I was likely favourite, but probably not massive against his pre-flop limping range.

Decided to play it similar to how I would in a SnG or Tourney and try to gain fold equity pre-flop. He hadn't put much in, but I figured why not take it down now, and if he gets it in I'm likely flipping at least against overcards.

      Known players:

      0.03/0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy.com Elephant 0.105 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5:spade: , 5:club:
3 folds, SB calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.31, SB raises to $0.93, Hero raises to $1.55, SB calls $0.27 (All-In), Hero gets uncalled bet back.

      Flop: ($2.40) J:heart: , 9:diamond: , 3:diamond:
      Turn: ($2.40) Q:spade:
      River: ($2.40) K:diamond: (2 players)

      Final Pot: $2.40

      Results follow (highlight to see):
SB shows a pair of jacks (Jc 4d)
      Hero shows (5s 5c)

SB wins with a pair of jacks (Jc 4d)

      Hello Philfox1985,

I don't really like the raise, even if you get it all-in you at the best just flip. :D Of course we are raising then we are planning to play for the stacks. I'd most likely just Check and see the flop, we can still take stabs there either we hit and even if no hit and he Checks to us.

      Best Regards.
